Hot springs?

Hi all:

Great idea for a tribe!

I'll be visiting BC (after attending a conference in Coeur d'Alene, ID) for a couple of days, Oct 21-23. Right now I'm planning on going to Ainsworth Hot Springs unless someone can suggest a better hot springs to visit that isn't too far away. I'd really PREFER one that's clothing optional (Ainsworth, sadly, isn't).

Can someone suggest somewhere to go? Wouldja like to go with me?

There many natural springs in the southeast corner of BC. I grew up in Kimberley and as kids my parents often took us to the White Swan lake hot springs. There are a few books on hotsprings in the Pacific Northwest and BC, a quick websearch will call it up for you.

There's also a website for BC springs:

    www.bchotsprings.com/

Of the developed springs I've been to, Ainsworth is by far my favorite- that cave is way "cool".

    Happy soaking!

I love this tribe. That there is somewhere to ask these kinds of questions.
I love your province. I will have many questions when my next trip is in sight.
I would have to recommend Canal Flats. That is near Whiteswan Lake. It's natural and not many people were around when I was there. I've never been to a developed hotspring.
I have a dream to lay in a hotspring while it was snowing.

harrison hotsprings also there are undeveloped ones at the north end of lake takes a boat or off road vehicle.
Meager creek hotsprings is difficult to get because the logging road bridges are not existant and only passable on foot or motorcycle.
Im going in for a look in late march
