I am moving to Vancouver on the 24th and looking for a hostel to bunk down in until I can find a place to live. I was hoping someone would be able to recommend one, as I have never been to Vancouver before, and have never stayed at a hostel before. I have no problem with shared rooms, but I would need to have somewhere to securely store a large duffle bag and my back pack, and a little peace and quiet at night (at least in the room).
That being said, if anyone is in need of a roommate, please let me know...

Sun, January 14, 2007 - 9:35 PMI have stayed in the HI Downtown hostel (in the West End) and it was good. The Jericho Beach hostel would probably be good as well. Some of the other ones look pretty sketchy.

I will have a large duffle bag, back pack, and a carry-on piece, plus a bike. As long as I can lock everything up securely I don't mind sharing rooms with multiple people. -
